Palomar Mountain

We started early. Nobody else on the trail. Nice climb that got our hearts pumping. As we got closer to the top there were off road vehicles- bikes and jeeps. Most were mindful of kicking up dirt. When we got to the top there were a few people and the lookout guard was on duty. The biggest problem with this trail was the relentless amount of bugs. It was enough to make me reconsider doing it again. I used tons of bug spray and reapplied several times- they didn’t care. I had lots of bites. Long sleeves, pants, and a face net are highly recommended.
