High Point

Went with 2 ladies I’ve hiked with before (J and S).

We got our permit the night before online. Restrooms at the parking area.

Started at 6:50am, love the entrance gate with the walk through. It was a nice walk up and up, but not horrible at all. We did see some bugs when we hit the trees, we all had nets, they weren’t horrible though.

Reached the peak 9:30am and found all 3 USGS markers. Peak sign is damaged but in place. I also found a hat someone lost and took it down with us. It was sun damaged.

Had lunch at the top. I saw the wooden tower and ran into and older gentleman who had completed the 3 saints in 23 hours a few years back. I was definitely impressed and in awe.

Back to the car 12:45pm.

Overall lovely hike, I think it’s underrated for sure! Would do again I think.
