High Point – Just keep going!

Group hike with Take A Hike. I paced this hike with 2 group members taking us to the peak at High Point. Beautiful temperatures although was hot with the sun and minimal shade most of the hike. The single track for 2 miles was a challenge to start off and end with but conquered! The views were great with skies a little hazy. I felt much better after getting through the first 2 miles to the fire road trails. There was this one grove of trees with all these Acorn Woodpeckers singing & swooping around in the trees which was delightful to hear and watch how playful they seemed.
