X marks the spot.

First 0.5 is easy, then the next 1.5 is tough. Then on and off tough to the top.

Same 1.5 mile portion near the end is tough going down because of the loose rocks, gravel, acorns, and sand. Very slippery going down.

Some bugs on way down, and it started to get warm.

I hit the trail at 0630 and it was chilly. You warm up quickly during first two miles.

Cover Pic is about 2.75 miles in if I remember right. Pretty cool rock formation.
