High to the Point

We had 30 hikers in our group and everyone made it to the top. I was very happy that my daughter joined us one this one. It was a beautiful day, although it was a bit warm on the way down. The views along the trail and at the top were awesome!! We heard lots of birds chirping and saw a snake (not a rattlesnake). The first 2 miles were very steep and the rest of the way up was moderately steep and long.

The parking lot was very small, so we parked on the other side of the fire station. An adventure pass is not needed at either location, however, if you park at the campground across the street, you will need to pay $5 or have an adventure pass. (I verified this information with the Forest Service)
