Hiking 295 pounds up the trail!

Well I started my peak’s challenge with 2 miles walks around my neighborhood. I progressed to what I thought was a six mile hike around town that turned out to be 8. Thank goodness it was flat ground that time.
On to Volcan it was a great temperature day in the mid 70’s and a good breeze at the peak. Nice to cool off for the hike down. On the way up I took the oak trail off to the right about midway up. It was nice taking that path up. I only saw a gecko and a eagle flying around. I meet a couple of other hikers and told them about the challenge and they took a picture of the peaks off the back of the badge. It was a great day.
