Hiking Baden-Powell
It was a beautiful day for a hike up Mount Baden-Powell.
“Clear blue skies”
“cool air”
“trails of worker ants”
“camouflaged tiny young, energetic squirrels that scurry up trees much faster than I can capture”
“birdsong”
“light, rhythmic crunch of gravel and scattered acorns beneath my feet”
“slight sway of the branches of the guardian limber pines, as if dancing in the sun”
As one liners, these do not amount to much. In tandem, it becomes poetry. Views at the top are spectacular. Trail is well maintained.
