What a long, amazing day! We did 20 miles, 4,500’ gain. We were on the mountain for 10 hours. At times, it was hot as an air fryer. But hills are green. Wildflowers are popping! Streams are flowing! Gate to the trailhead is closed so that added an additional 4 miles, and we crossed 3 streams. Forgot my bug net so I made lots of new bug friends.
