Holy Poppies!

I went up the 5 Oaks Trail and down the main trail.  I was surprised how crowded it was since the day was a scorcher!  The biggest surprise was the fields and fields of poppies that could be seen in every direction from the summit.  I don’t know how long they’ll last with how hot it was last weekend, but it was a real treat to see!  Oh, and I encountered the biggest rattlesnake I have ever seen in real life.
