This is my favorite hike of the New England Six Pack Peak Challenge so far. Fun hike with some fun rock scrambling/hopping, stream crossings, and opportunities for some trail running (we encountered several trail runners). The only disappointing part of the hike was we had only partial views at the summit due to some cloud coverage. You can tell the views would be amazing though, so we’ll have to come back. We also happen to find the wreckage from the WWII plane crash. Bugs were an annoyance hiking towards the top and at the summit but not as much under tree cover.
