Humphreys Welcomes 40

Hiked Humphreys on my 40th birthday and it could not have been more perfect. I started out at 6:40am made it to the summit at 9:50am. Spent almost an hour at the top taking it all in. Only a few other people on the trail and I had the top to myself for a good 10 minutes. Weather was absolutely perfect. Calm winds at the top with some cloud coverage.. sun peaked out here and there to warm you for a minute. Met some amazing people along the way who I hope to share future adventure stories with. I made it back to the parking lot at 1:00pm, wishing it didn’t end. I exited the trees feeling full of life, feeling indestructible and full of joy. I did in fact walk out feeling taller than the trees. ???? ♥️ ????
