I fought my way to the top!

I had hiked El Cajon Mountain before but I needed one more peak to complete my challenge.  I already knew what I was up against and didn’t want to do it again!  A friend had never hiked it but was up for a challenge.  We set out at 7 a.m. and returned to the car at 4:30 p.m.  It was a long day and I came home with plenty of souvenirs in the form of scratches, scrapes and bruises!!  You can’t help but feel proud when you summit this beast of a mountain!!
