Had a wonderful, long, hard hike to the summit. The inner basin approach to the peak turn out to be a 16.3 mile hike with 4800ft gain. But very glad I did it. Wanted to go back and camp near the tree line up Weatherford TR. But that plan is up in smoke.

    I’m glad you were able to hike this. I hope the firefighters are able to contain the wildfires soon. There is a chance of rain in the forecast, so we are keeping our fingers crossed.
