Lizards, caterpillars and Deer oh my!

We tried to park in the little parking lot. We got there at 7:15.   It was full so we had to park at the college. Added a little bit more. But it was ok. It was a gorgeous day.  Not too hot.  The first couple were all up hill but ok.    Then the last couple up hill to the peak were brutal.  Downhill was a breeze.   We took lots of breaks up.  Not needed on the way down.   Saw tons of lizards and a cute little caterpillar.  We saw a big deer too.  Some wildflowers.  Lovely hike.  Gorgeous views on the way up. Not so much at the top.
