A perfect day to hike up “Old Grey Back”. We hiked to loop up Dry Lake to San G summit and then down the Dollar Lake trail. The Southfork trail was pretty quiet today but the summit was busy. I think most of the hikers went up Vivian Creek trail.
Wow, finished it in a day!? How much water did you guys take and did you use a water filter? The photo looks like it was too easy for you! Great job
Hi Jae. I took three liters of water and a bottle of gatorade. I took a water filter but did not need to use it. I have done this route a couple of times as a day hike. It’s not easy, but doable.
