Parked at Maiden Lake trailhead to hike the less traveled East side, trail converges with the trail from the West ~1 mi from summit. Hiked solo, saw no other hikers, surprisingly few bugs for this time of year, smoke cleared a bit since last week. Total distance according to gps: 8.9mi and 2700ft elevation.
