Maiden Peak

Beautiful hike up to Maiden Peak today. The first part of the hike went through lush forest and the trail was in excellent condition. Very gradual grade in the beginning. It did get a little steep and rocky towards the end, but all part of the adventure. We didn’t get to spend a lot of time on the summit since some clouds and wind rolled in, but such beautiful views from the top. We could even see Mt. Theilsen in the distance, which we had hiked over the summer. Quick and easy decent. A great day out in the woods!

Really an honor to be part of the Six Pack of Peaks this year. Maiden Peak was our final hike and it felt good to finish and be a part in helping Big City Mountaineers!
