Beautiful hike! It was our second time doing this peak. It was once again a great hike with 360 degree views of central Oregon at the top. I will warn you not to trust Apple Maps or all trails to get to the best starting point. If coming from bend, turn right onto gold lake road just past Willamette pass. The trail head is a few miles along the road on the right hand side with minimal signage. The trail is really well marked from that point on.
