Maiden Peak

Part of the adventure is always the occasional false start – today was our false start!  We got a bit turned around at the start of the morning but eventually found our way.  Then … we crossed paths with a guy who was mountain biking out.  A few miles later we ended up finding his cell phone on a rock – no cover – no cracks – no scratches!  I tried calling “mother dearest” and “deana my love” but I think I ended up getting the guy in trouble with everyone he knew – including his Amazon boss!  After taking a few pics on his cellphone – so that he could always remember his adventure in crossing our paths – we were on our way.  After today’s hike we explored Diamond Peak and another waterfall!
