Maiden Peak – Snowy Solitude

Hiked up in complete solitude.  Fist person on the trail that day.  The higher I climbed the more snow that I encountered.  Soft and sticky and easy to walk on.  I loved looking back on my footprints in the snow.  Stopped halfway down and just listened.  Closed my eyes.  Complete quiet and solitude.  Pure serenity.

Took a picture in my mind and will try to hold onto this moment.
