Started out at 7:30 am to take advantage of the somewhat cooler temps and the shade. Rather muggy hiking up through the trees. Once you reach the saddle you can enjoy the first views and a breeze! Some scrambling near the top. Bees and other insects where there are wild flowers, but no mosquitoes or other biting insects. Very rewarding views from the top. Trail was narrow but not overgrown. Not too busy on a weekday.
