Miss the gym? Try this outdoor stair stepper!

The day was hot and clear. Trail conditions were excellent. Gradual climb to the top of Fatman’s Loop (about one mile), then steep climb all the way to the summit for another 1.7 miles. Lots of high stepping over log terraces and/or rock steps in the trail. We were huffing and puffing by the time we got to the lookout! Great views of the Kachina Peaks to the northwest, as well as other Northern Arizona landmarks. Take a windbreaker..it’s often chilly and windy on the summit.
