Mount Elden

This hike is one of the more impressive looking hikes from the bottom. From the parking lot you can see the mountainside you’re going to climb, which looks very steep, and the summit, which looks far away. It was a strenuous hike but easier than both Bear and Wilson Mountains. The scenery was varied as the climb progressed but I found the views less than amazing as stated in the trail description. This isn’t a hike to take for scenery in my opinion. Maybe I was jaded because of I had previously hiked Bear and Wilson, which were legitimately amazing.
