Trailhead Ohlone College

Got to Stanford staging area before 9 AM and it was already crazy busy! Drove on to Ohlone College trailhead. Much better. Decided to add Horse Heaven trail and Peak Meadow trail to make it a longer hike.

Saw turkeys, ground squirrels, some kind of hawk I didn’t recognize, a snake, and a bunch of cows, some lying smack dab in the middle of the one-track trail with no intention of mooooving. Beautiful spring day!

    I still need to hike Mission Peak for the 2018 challenge. I’m planning to do the same as you, and hike from Ohlone College. Looks like some wildflowers were out, too!
