Weather was GORGEOUS. I did not expect it to be as warm in October. On Waze and Google Maps, the road to Vincent Gulch was marked as closed coming from the East (Big Pines Hwy), and suggested going through a campground parking section. But the road through there is actually closed. The Angeles Crest Hwy is indeed open up to Vincent Gulch from Big Pines Hwy. coming from the Los Angeles area, we had to go up through Palmdale, as there was a traffic backup due to an accident on the 2. There are also closures in the 2 coming from the west shown on Google Maps but we were not able to verify those.
