Bierstadt trail starts with a beautiful scenery, as you pass Deadman’s Lake and descend to Scott Gomer Creek. Creek crossing is savage, you are going to get wet. Easy to follow trail, when in doubt, keep heading up. There are rock cairns for guidance too. Breathtaking vies of Mount Evans and the sawtooth ridge, Grays Peak and Torrey Peak. Sighting of a moose ????
