This was an incredibly fun day hike me and my mom did! Perfect skies and perfect temperatures made this a breeze, the lakes were all beautiful, and not too many people were out on them. Making it to the summit took us 3 hours from the trailhead, but that includes all the stops we made to admire the lakes and scenery around us! There was one single patch of snow just before the switchbacks to the top, but there are flags guiding you over it and it is all of 5 steps to cross. Definitely one of my favorite summits I’ve been to!
Such a great hike. I look forward to going up there again.
