Road to trail was closed due to snow. About 1.5. Miles to th.
We opted to hike around the snow which added about 3.5 miles to our day. It was worth it to walk a mile on the PCT section.
It was popping with flowers, waterfalls, lakes, snow, frogs in the lake and switchbacks to an amazing summit.
From the top we could see Black Butte, which we hiked the day before and we got to see it on front of Mt. Shasta. Such a cool picture. I will include.
Lovely day with friends tackling a touch climb. I we were the only 4 ladies on the trail for miles. So empty. So perfect.
On our way down we saw our first through hiker just passed the saddle on his way up the switchbacks.
