1st peak completed was Mount Elden in Flagstaff. Been passing it for years; finally stopped and hiked the trail. Seems like it took me forever – 6 miles in 5 hours.
The sun was giving off some heat and making me slow and groggy, the elevation probably didn’t help any either, but the beauty of Mother Nature made it all worth it.
Of course admiring and taking tons of pics of her beauty also takes time. Flora and fauna galore!
