Mount Elden Lookout

A good hard hike with really pretty views. The weather was beautiful. This trail is very rocky, dry, and steep, the combination of which made for a slooow descent for me. I was glad we had our hiking poles. Had a great view from the summit of a helicopter with a line and basket doing some maneuvers, and also watched a fairly large plane land at Flagstaff airport. It took us 2 hours to reach the summit and 1 hour 45 minutes to descend.
