Mountain Lion on Mt Umunhum!!

We got a late start but still had plenty of time to get to the top, lounge for a little while and then make it down before it got dark. We enjoyed the many colors and variety of wild flowers, birds were tweeting (also heard an owl), squirrels and large beetles crossing the trail. As I was rounding a corner I glimpsed a mountain lion crossing the trail and disappearing into the bushes. This was our first hike of the challenge, looking forward to completing the other 5!
