Mt. Bachelor

There was snow,  but not on the trail itself and it was beautiful to see. The trail was very rocky.  I was grateful to have poles. I believe. We got there a little too early so it was still dark.  The summit always looked close,  but with the switchbacks looks were deceiving.  We were fortunate to avoid the heat, direct sun and thunderstorms that apparently came later.  The views were incredible of all the surrounding mountains and lakes.  We also spotted a fire being put out by planes.
