Mt. Diablo Saint Patrick’s Day Scramble

We had a very green St. Patrick’s Day at Mount Diablo. It was a beautiful, moderately cool day, and we were very thankful for that. Diablo is one relentless climb to the summit. The way back down through Mitchell Canyon is much more gradual but our knees certainly got a workout. This is a taxing but incredibly rewarding hike. We fought our way up and were rewarded with new scenery every 10 minutes. The best kind of challenge!
