This was my first peak for the challenge, and my highest elevation to date! It was a beautiful day, great cool weather and sunshine for about half of it. Thankfully even when the clouds rolled in the rain held off until the drive home. I went up Old Bridle, summited Mt Lafayette, Mt Lincoln, Little Haystack and came down Falling Waters trail. While it was a bit more challenging going down Falling Waters than hiking up it, I’m glad I went the way I did and hit the tallest of the peaks first. Gorgeous views, lots of great people, could not have enjoyed the day more!
