I arrived at the parking area on 29 around 6:15am. It’s was way too dark to start the hike so, I waited till sunrise ?.   The first mile of the hike was the steepest, mostly rugged terrain.  The remainder of the hike was on a fire road that I didn’t mind because the views were spectacular!

There wasn’t any traffic at all except for a couple jogging  and two others I saw in the far distance behind.  However, I did see a small group of rock climbers on my way down.

At the top the views were breathtaking.   I really enjoyed this hike! The hike was more moderate than  difficult.  Weather was hot even at 7am.
