A wonderful blue-sky day for my final hike of the 2022 NorCal Six-Pack of Peaks Challenge. I started at Lake Lagunitas, which made the hike longer than it could have been, but the route took me along the shores of three lakes and via Cataract Falls before ascending to the summit.

I haven’t hiked Mt Tam from Lake Lagunitas before. How long was your route?
What adventures do you have planned for the second half of 2022?
It ended up being a 16-mile loop (I’ve previously hiked Tam as a 10-mile out and back).
Still working out plans for the rest of 2022, but a top-down hike through Zion’s Narrows is in the works.
