On the 2nd Day of Christmas, My True Love Let Me Be: A Hiker on Mount Woodson

This was my first time on Mt. Woodson.  It’s a fun hike.  Not sure I’d drive from North LA County every year to do it, but it was fun to see Potato Chip Rock and say I’ve stood at the top.  We really had no desire to stand in line for a 1/2 hour to get a photo on the Chip though.  If I do this again, I’d probably shoot for an earlier start to avoid some of those crowds too.  Beautiful views and gorgeous weather made for a wonderful day after Christmas hike.
