Hiked with a partner

The weather was beautiful and the trail conditions were mostly okay.  On the way down, there were some muddy spots and a portion had to be navigated through a creek. I liked the first mile and a half with the waterfalls, I liked summitting Little Haystack, and I liked the views from the ridge.  Overall though, it wasn’t a fun hike and even though we thought we planned it out right, we still had to finish in the dark.  If I ever did it again, I’d book a stay at the Greenleaf Hut and finish going down Old Bridal the next day. But, I probably wouldn’t do it again. I did bag my first 2 NH 4,000 footers in Lincoln and Lafayette so that part was great.
