We chose to start this trail clockwise and did the steep incline first. I was told that was 1,500 feet elevation gain for 1 mile, but I rather go up that way than going down on it. We also took a detour from the AllTrails trail and walk along the river before connecting with the original trail, and that was very nice.

    Beautiful pictures, thanks for sharing 🙂 I also started going up that hill last time I did this trail, it’s steep but I feel like it’s worth it! You’re almost done!
