Peak #1
Have grown to enjoy this hike in my hometown. Can get crowded so best to get there early if you hope to score a spot in the parking lot at the trailhead. Weather was good, a bit chilly on a spring morning but manageable with thin layers. Trail can be a bit uneven in some areas, but nice and wide, and easy to navigate. Takes under 2 hrs round trip if you go at a good clip and don’t spend too much time at the top. Depends if you’re the type to stop and smell the roses (and cow manure), vs getting in a good workout and going on with your day, ultimately!
Beautiful view! Good tip to start early. What time did you start?
Apologies for not seeing this sooner. Started around 7:30 am on a weekday. You have no shot scoring a parking spot at that time on a weekend, though!
