I completed this hike for the Bay Area Six-Pack of Peaks Challenge.

I loved how diverse this hike was, with the environment completely changing every 40 minutes or so. By the end, it felt like I’d completed 5 or 6 distinct hikes within this one trip.

Getting up to the summit wasn’t too bad. Fern Creek trail, closer to the summit, was definitely a tough one, but doable with several breaks… Gave me some extra time to enjoy the views =]

It was a foggy day with patches of visibility, so the views were so-so, but in the end, a named peak was bagged.
