Picacho Peace and Pain

The drive up to Picacho was beautiful!  An landmark for miles around.  The state park facilities were nice and new.  The trail starts with a gradual climb.  About 30 min in, I swore were were halfway, only to be told maybe 25%.  The saddle is halfway, and the view is beautiful!  After the saddle, the hike gets more interesting.  I enjoyed the climbing sections.  The view from the top 360 degrees is why we all hike!  See for miles and miles.  Loved this hike!
