I always enjoy Picacho Peak! It is 2.8 miles round trip, but felt shorter today. Greatest thing about the trail is that it goes up, across, down, and then up again. So, it will definitely challenge you whether you’re novice or pro.
Good weather, good trail conditions, and earlier in the morning it wasn’t crowded. I had no problem pulling on ropes with bare hands, but I’d recommend gloves.
