Pie-Stewa

To remember how to spell Piestewa, I always say Pie-Stewa. Just a funny thing I do lol. Any who.. every time I hike Piestewa, my mom tells me stories of us hiking this peak, then known as Squaw Peak, little me and my brother. So much history in one little intense hike. I started this hike at 3pm on a Sunday. I have found it’s not so packed at this time, so it’s perfect. I aim for 40 minutes up and 30 minutes down. Today I did it in 74 minutes. Not bad, not bad! Piestewa is always an amazing adventure and a fun challenge.
