As driving to this area of San Diego takes about 2-1/2hrs one way, hiking to Potato Chip rock will be added in my own tradition to be the 3rd same after finishing Cuyamaca and Volcan. None of my friends willing to pursue of doing this today, I guess since they are from SD area, they can do it anytime.

Weather was cooperative with me which is the sign for me to do it. Although it was started drizzling when pulling out the parking of Mom’s Pie, towards Ramona, it was a tad clear. Became overcast as I parked. Not as much cars today given the weather but not totally a desolate hike.

There’s a sign now on the rock but as I did not climb it, I didn’t get the opportunity to have a selfie with it.

Only a handful of photo enthusiasts were at the popular rock. As pressed in time and weather, after taking the obligatory photo, I head back to the parking.
