After completing Volcan Mountain near Julian, we decided to hike Mt. Woodson on the same day. Since it was a 3-day weekend for some people, the trail was crowded. We had to pay $10.00 for the parking near the lake. The hike is around 7.5 miles round trip (Mt. Woodson Trail).
