Trailhead Crater Rim Trail #52

The weather in Bend was predicted to be 84 degrees and clear so I dressed lightly for heat. Surprise! Not so at Paulina Peak. It was quite a bit cooler with a few patches of snow on the trail. And it turned out to be cloudy. But still very beautiful! The trail up was steep but went pretty quickly. Nice views at the top. Later I went and explored the lava fields and Paulina Falls. Really nice area with lots of activities about.
