Quite up on Maiden Peak

This was a strenuous route even though it saved a few miles overall I think the elevation gain was more severe this way. But my dog and I made it! Did not see any other hikers on the trail or at the summit. We made a side detour on the way back to Maiden Lake and had the whole place to ourselves : )
