Wildflowers blooming

Hiked with a group

The burnt forest and abundant and blooming wildflowers made this an unusually beautiful hike. There is no escaping the sun due to the burn out but we left early enough to avoid on the climb up so it wasn’t too bad and there was a nice wind most of the day. After mile 13 my feet took a beating but overall the grade is not too steep and it was a very enjoyable hike.
