It was a quiet Monday morning with a deer sighting as it ran along the road on Hwy 138 and I knew it would be magical. I love this rich soil with its red tint and pine trees that greet you at each switch back. I loved this short, sweet, kick ass trail that I had mostly to myself except for the other 5 hikers I saw while I was on the way down.
